The immersive display and virtual reality device is composed of a stereoscopic display system coupled to a movement capture system. This device, based in Schiltigheim, is accessible to research laboratories and companies in the Alsace region and, more widely, in the surrounding regions.

The resource centre is a project initiated by iconoval in the context of the Strasbourg European City 2003-2005 Triennal Contract. It was funded by the Alsace Region, the Alsace Region Prefecture, the Bas-Rhin General Council and the Strasbourg Urban Community.
The purpose of the resource center is to supply a mechanism for studies, testing, cooperation and technology transfer based on a mutualized resources platform able to provide help and support to research teams and industrial companies in training and teaching.
The centre is currently endowed with virtual reality equipment and will continue to develop to provide new resources according to the needs expressed by users.
Management of the immersive display and virtual reality equipment has been entrusted to Holo3 within the framework of a partnership with iconoval.

The device can be used as an immersive display system to meet research needs in the field of Virtual and Augmented Reality. 
Review of CAD projects
The device is suitable for displaying very large 3D digital models (buses, factories, trains, etc...) realistically and interactively.
Communication / Decision making support
The platform is designed to let you bring together thirty participants for standard or 3D multimedia projections.
