CORRELI 3D is the association of image correlation and fringe projection techniques. Using white light, it is a way of accessing the main 3D displacement maps at the surface of a work-piece.
Fully calibrated,
CORRELI 3D supplies information in metric quantities directly.
The technique is particulary rugged and well adjusted to the industrial environment, allowing the measurement of very large movements.
Measurement of three-dimensional contactless movements :Optical techniques like "triangulation measurement" or "measurement by fringe projection" are a way of measuring the form of a three-dimensional object.
The measured form will be represented by a series of dots whose three-dimensional coordinates (position in space expressed within a given reference system) are know. The measurement of the displacement means acquiring the shape of an object in two different states, meaning the identification of the points of the object. Identification is done by the correlation of a pattern derived from a picture representing an object's state with a pattern derived from a picture representing another state of the object.

Loaded tire_Measurement The area marked in its "original and final pixel" position : We can read the 3D coordinates of the zone center point and compare them with the initial coordinates.
